Frank Myers Auto Maxx Named One of America's Fastest Growing Companies for Second Consecutive Year

Updated: Jun 8

INC Award Given To Tracy Myers

Success is often measured in numbers, but behind every number is a story.

For the second consecutive year, Frank Myers Auto Maxx has been recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest-growing private companies in America, earning a coveted spot on the prestigious Inc. 5000 list.

The honor was celebrated at a gala event in Washington, D.C. on October 12, 2013, where some of the brightest minds in business gathered to recognize entrepreneurial excellence. Attendees heard from notable speakers including Gary Vaynerchuk, Jim Collins, Marc Ecko and other influential business leaders.

The Inc. 5000 is more than just a list. It has become a launching pad for some of the most recognizable companies in the world. Alumni include Facebook, Microsoft, Under Armour, Patagonia, Oracle, Intuit, Zappos, Timberland, Clif Bar and Zipcar. The 2013 list also featured major brands such as Publix Super Markets, CDW and Levi Strauss.

For Tracy Myers, owner of Frank Myers Auto Maxx, the recognition represents far more than business growth.

"When my great-grandfather opened the first Frank Myers store more than 83 years ago, I would like to believe that he wanted his family to carry on the excellent business legacy that he began," Myers said. "This award is dedicated to him, my dad and the other Myers family members who came before me and who will come after me."

That family legacy has been a driving force behind the company's success. Through economic uncertainty and an increasingly competitive marketplace, Frank Myers Auto Maxx continued to grow by focusing on customer service, innovation and building lasting relationships with the people it serves.

Inc. Editor-in-Chief praised this year's honorees, noting that companies earning a place on the list had successfully navigated some of the most challenging economic conditions in recent history.

"For more than 30 years, Inc. has celebrated the fastest-growing private companies in America. To be honored this year is a particularly notable achievement. To rank among the Inc. 5000, the companies had to thrive through three of the toughest years this economy has seen in recent memory. Success in such times is eloquent testimony to creativity, resilience and tenacity."

The 2013 Inc. 5000 rankings were based on percentage revenue growth between 2009 and 2012. To qualify, companies had to be privately held, for-profit, U.S.-based businesses generating significant revenue while demonstrating sustained growth during that period.

For Frank Myers Auto Maxx, being named to the Inc. 5000 for a second straight year serves as both recognition of past accomplishments and motivation for the future.

After all, when your family has been serving customers for more than eight decades, growth isn't just about getting bigger. It's about honoring the generations who built the foundation, serving today's customers with excellence, and ensuring the legacy continues for generations to come.

From a single family business started more than 100 years ago to national recognition among America's fastest-growing companies, the journey continues.

And the best chapters are still being written.
